About Fromage and Forage

Savannah Jones was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia on a horse farm near Free Union. She grew up outside in the woods, foraging for sticks to build fairy houses, in the dirt in her parent’s gardens, or in the paddocks with her horses. Her love for cooking started when she discovered the Barefoot Contessa, Martha Stewart, and Anthony Bourdain on the Food Network. Savannah got her start at a bakery at the age of sixteen and went in search of jobs to help grow her skills. She worked in multiple positions at a vineyard, in luxury property management, landscape design with a focus on flowers and garden production, and has spent the last twelve years working in restaurants and private catering. After many years dedicated to working for others, the idea of Fromage and Forage was born.

About the Vision: At Fromage and Forage, we take pride in offering a unique farm-to-table catering experience that celebrates the freshest ingredients and the beauty of florals. We work directly with local farms and provide produce and flowers from our own farm. Our menu reflects the changing seasons, allowing us to showcase nature's bounty at its peak freshness. From vibrant summer salads to hearty winter stews, our farm-to-table approach ensures that every dish is bursting with flavor and vitality.
